Amal Eltayib

President

Amal is a senior at Iowa City High School. She started The Golden Beaker in her freshman year after noticing large inequities in STEM education near her. In her free time, she loves to journal and ride her bike. She hopes to pursue a career in Computational Biology.

Siena Brown

Vice President

Siena started working with The Golden Beaker because she believes every child deserves to have the resources to explore and engage with their interests. She is dedicated to advancing The Golden Beaker’s mission of equal access to STEM education! Siena is a senior at Iowa City High School who enjoys hanging out with family and friends, hiking, and dancing!

Claire Locher

Secretary

Claire is a current senior at City High. She has always been interested in biology and is planning to go college to study medicine. STEM is an important part of her life and she is so happy to share it with young students with The Golden Beaker!

Jillian Conlon

Treasurer

Jillian is a senior at City High and is a music lover! She loves to be in everything singing-related, including Show Choir, Choir, musicals, and more. She is so grateful to be part of The Golden Beaker so she can help give back to our community and beyond. She is looking forward to seeing all that we can accomplish!

Miriam Reschly-Krasowski

Events Planner

Miriam joined the Golden Beaker because she believes that positive elementary education sets the foundation for the rest of our lives. Besides being a senior in high school, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, working out, and being outdoors. She is proud to help the community she grew up in!

Iman Alnour

Social Media Manager

Iman is a senior attending West High School with a passion for helping others and health care. She plans to pursue a career in healthcare and is excited to continue supporting students in STEM through her work with The Golden Beaker.

Solomon Shaffer

Social Media Assistant Manager

Solomon, a senior at Iowa City West High, serves as the Assistant Social Media Manager for The Golden Beaker. Along with helping promote the organization, he is actively involved in Orchestra. Solomon looks forward to contributing to The Golden Beaker and making an impact.
